"Where you come from does not dictate where you end up in life"

In a rapidly evolving cultural environment, the needs of students are changing drastically. The pillars of leadership, culture, morals, values, performance, and community are all being redefined. Amidst diverse school policies, varying parenting models, and disconnection between law enforcement, community, and schools, youth are being left behind, and their voices are going unheard as adults debate what they think is best. We need to bring youth representation to the table. We need to take politics out of it and focus on doing the work needed in the community, with the community, on behalf of the community.
